According To Zimbabwe’s Constitution, Mnangagwa Is Currently Expected To Leave Office In 2028 After Completing Two Five-Year Terms. Any Extension Would Require Amendments To The Constitutional Term-Limit Provisions.
The Resolution Was Passed During The Party’s Annual Conference Held In The Eastern City Of Mutare, Where Justice Minister Ziyambi Ziyambi, Who Also Serves As ZANU-PF’s Legal Affairs Secretary, Said The Government Has Been Directed To “Initiate The Necessary Legal Amendments” To Implement The Plan.
